Devils Fork State Park
A lakeside camping area with 59 recreational vehicle sites is situated
in a heavily wooded area. Each campsite is paved and has water and
electrical hookups, a picnic table and grill. Restrooms with hot showers
are conveniently located in the camping area, and one has coin-operated
laundry equipment. A dump station is located near the entrance. A 25-site
lakeside tent camping area with elevated pads and access to comfort
stations is also available on a first-come, first-served basis. Each site
has a grill pit and picnic table available. A limited number of sites,
including two handicapped sites, can be reserved in advance. Boat-in
primitive campsites are located on the northern shore of Lake Jocassee at
the base of Musterground Mountain. The area is accessible only by boat and
is open year-round. Combination fire rings/grill pits are provided.

Keowee-Toxaway State Natural Area,
Sunset
There are 10 RV campsites and 14 tent sites. The campground is
convenient to hot showers and restrooms. RV sites have water and
electrical hookups, while the tent site area has central water.

There are 100 campsites
available. There are 25 available for reservations along with 2 sites
designated for the handicapped. Sites are rented on a first-come,
first-served basis. Each site has water and electrical hookups and is
convenient to hot showers and restrooms. A dump station is available for
RV users. There is a family style restaurant, park store and Nature
Center. Seasonal swimming and canoe rentals are also available. Contact

Twin Lakes Campground, Clemson
This is one of the most popular campgrounds on Hartwell Lake. The
campground is located only 5 miles from Clemson University, making Twin
Lakes the campground of choice for Clemson alumni. The campground offers
102 campsites, 89 waterfront and 13 interior sites with water and 50 amp
electrical hookups. Reservations must be made at least 2 days in advance.
Drought conditions may affect the waterfront campsites and expose water
hazards to boaters and swimmers. Please contact the Project Office for
current lake conditions. The camp-ground gate opens at 7AM and closes at
10PM. There is a limit of one wheeled camper per site. Tents are limited
to the impact pad capacity. No alcohol. From I-85 in SC, take exit 14, Hwy
187, going north on Hwy 187 toward Pendleton, SC. Immediately after
passing Clemson Research Center, turn left on Fants Grove Road. Follow

The Clemson University Outdoor
Laboratory is located five miles from the University campus on a beautiful
peninsula on Lake Hartwell. Excellent accommodations for conferences,
workshops, retreats and other programs are available. With a unique
location in the midst of the Clemson Forest, the Outdoor Laboratory
provides programming possibilities that can be found in few environments.
Our Team Ventures Experience is one of the many programs available and can
benefit any type of group - business and professional, corporate
management teams, families, athletic teams and church groups. The Outdoor
Laboratory is also the summer home of many residential camping programs
including Jaycee Camp Hope, Camp Sertoma and Camp Lions Den. These camps
provide opportunities for special needs children and adults in South
Carolina to experience the benefits of group living and outdoor

Mile Creek County
Park, Six Mile
A choice of secluded, shaded
campsites makes Mile Creek Park an ideal home base from which to explore
the many recreational and sightseeing opportunities within easy driving
distance. A total of 69 campsites are available, all with water and power
hookups, and more than two-thirds of those campsites have direct access to
the shoreline of the 12,500- acre Lake Keowee. All campsites have fire
rings and lantern posts. Three heated bathrooms containing hot water
showers are conveniently located throughout the camping area. Security is
provided 24 hours a day, with resident camp hosts to assure that your
visit will be a safe, peaceful one. Mile Creek Park is located about two
miles west of SC 133. Easy access over good roads from I-85, SC 183, and
Scenic Highway 11 makes this a convenient recreational escape. For more
